Filius Flitwick is a perfect example of the fact that you can’t judge a person (or a half-person) by their height. Born to a Muggle-Wizard couple and barely four feet tall, Flitwick is the most skilled and knowledgeable master of spells in the modern wizarding world. A former perennial champion of the Hogwarts Duelling Club, he has a great sense of humor, and the doors to his office are always open to all students, including alumni, regardless of their house affiliation. Flitwick is always ready to support his students with advice and assistance, and they repay him with love and dedication. As George - or Fred - Weasley put it: “Everyone passes their exams under him.”
