A Gryffindor student, one year younger than Hermione Granger, and a Muggle-born. An enthusiastic photographer, he never parts with his camera and never misses an opportunity to put it to use. He has achieved considerable success in his field, a fact acknowledged by everyone who has seen his work - Colin’s photographs have spread widely not only among students, but have even found admirers among Hogwarts staff. He loves photographing girls, and many willingly agree to pose for his photo shoots, but it is clear that the female students see him only as a photographer, not as a man. He has tried to start a wandlore club, but has not yet succeeded. He hopes to invent a way to “bring to life” ordinary Muggle photographs, but for now he spends most of his time searching for interesting subjects to photograph.
