Sorting Hat

An old magical hat that has been sorting first-year students into their houses on their first day of school ever since Hogwarts was founded. Most of the time, it sleeps on a shelf in the headmaster’s office, yet in a truly magical way, it always seems to know exactly what’s going on. Grumpy but well-meaning, he knows a great deal and is ready to offer advice - often unsolicited. He possesses the unique ability to read people’s thoughts, desires, and motivations by placing one of their personal belongings inside himself - though he can only use this power on girls and their underwear, preferably recently worn.
