A Slytherin and classmate of Daphne Greengrass. He is the son of the infamous “Black Widow,” who buried seven husbands and took possession of their fortunes. It is unknown what Blaise thinks of this aspect of his mother’s personality. His mother, however, apparently always treated her son warmly enough to allow him... many things, which inevitably shaped his character. Blaise is smart enough not to fall under Draco Malfoy’s influence; he is aloof, prefers to keep to himself, and avoids drawing unnecessary attention. He treats students from other departments with contempt, if not worse. For the sake of momentary pleasure and a sense of superiority over others, he is capable of actions that border on the forbidden.
