Lord Rattlesnake

Dangerous, ruthless, and downright terrifying, Rattlesnake gives the impression of a man capable of making a Dementor apologize with a single glance. It’s hard to believe that he was once Marcus Redblack - a lazy wizard-comedian, a mediocre wizard, and the interim headmaster of Hogwarts, who sometimes couldn’t even get simple spells right. Now Lord Rattlesnake sits in Azkaban for crimes that even the Ministry prefers not to discuss. The problem is that he himself cannot recount them either. He does not remember how he transformed from a clumsy slacker into a powerful dark wizard, nor does he remember exactly what he did or why he ended up in prison. Each interrogation brings back fragments of his past - memories of Hogwarts, other people’s intrigues, and events that seem to fit into a bigger picture but still hide the most important part. And sometimes it seems that his amnesia might not be the only oddity in this whole story.
